A night sky lit by paper lanterns, a long folding screen delimiting the space, stone tables to welcome visitors.

Relating on the one hand to the ancient Chinese tradition of the lantern festival and on the other to the recent but deeply rooted tradition of Mandarim Estoril, this amalgam of Eastern and Western influences results through contrast and repetition.

The simplicity of the elements is a choice made to absorb the necessary diversity in the applied lexicon (textures, materials and colours), a way to honour and transport to Lisbon the most iconic Chinese restaurant of Portugal.

In the organisation of the space, a system consisting of four lines of sliding curtains allows for real-time management of multiple privacy configurations, from the large room to small private spaces, and it is even possible to transform the large central table into a private room, a magic trick that can be performed in a matter of minutes.

The fantastic Chef Ku Yan Onn takes care of the rest of the experience!
